RICHMOND, Va. — Corey Heim picked up a series-best seventh win of the season in the eero 250 at Richmond Raceway, closing out the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series regular season by holding off reigning series champion Ty Majeski in the closing laps. Heim started from the pole in his No. 11 Tricon Garage Toyota and led 75 laps, but had to work for it — Majeski swept both stage wins and paced the field for a race-best 143 laps before contact with ThorSport teammate Matt Crafton late in the race cost him a shot at his first win of the year.
Heim took the lead for good with 20 laps remaining and beat Majeski to the line by 0.923 seconds, becoming the youngest driver in series history to reach 18 career wins, surpassing Kyle Busch’s mark. The result also formally set the 10-truck playoff field: Layne Riggs finished third, with Spire Motorsports teammates Sammy Smith and Corey LaJoie rounding out the top five. Jake Garcia’s seventh-place run was enough to edge Ben Rhodes and rookie Gio Ruggiero for the final points-based playoff spot alongside Majeski, Grant Enfinger and Kaden Honeycutt.
All-Pro Reels was trackside for the regular-season finale under the lights at Richmond’s storied three-quarter-mile oval.

The Truck Series Playoffs kick off next at Darlington Raceway, the historic track’s first-ever hosting of a Truck Series playoff race.
